Zambia is een land van expliciete motto’s en missies. Wat dacht je van een benzinestation met ‘Your satisfaction is our main concern’ op het uithangbord? De scholen slaan echter alles: ze hebben er allemaal één en de kernwoorden lijken te zijn discipline, samenwerking en ontwikkeling. Mijn favoriet is ‘Motto: Fear of god and academic excellence’! Maar andere schoolmotto’s en -missies zijn zeker niet minder serieus....
